About Us

AngoDaluz is an agricultural firm based in the province of Uíge, Angola. It is driven by three key principles: Fresh Organic Quality, Sustainable Solutions & Opportunity and Community. Founded in 2015 by Simao Daluz Kaluquembi, its primary aim was to provide the national Angolan market with fresh quality organic produce. Having discovered a growing deficit in this sector, it was the founders desire to be part of the solution. To accomplish this goal, the company focused on growing a variety of fruit trees, fruits, vegetables and tubers including avocado, mango, oranges, jack fruit, cherries, bananas, pineapple, passion fruit, watermelons, strawberries, tomatoes, aubergines, courgettes, peppers, corn (maize), cassava leaves (Pondu), spinach, broccolli, okra, cabbage, lettuce, carrots, potatoes, sweet potatoes, cassava, peanuts and yams. Given the success of this initiative nationally and, coupled with the effects of climate change and the ever-growing demand for quality organic produce worldwide, its' founder then decided to expand the fast-growing company to help satisfy requests from international markets. To this effect, he began working with other companies in Africa, Asia & Europe to import seeds / export much needed fruits and vegetables and, is open to creating further partnerships in this area. Spanning an area of over 210 hectares (circa. 519 acres / 2.1e+6 m2), it also expanded into animal husbandry as well as Forest farming and currently breeds animals such as pigs, goats, chicken and cattle. It also has planted a sizable amount of Eucalyptus trees.

The company envisages branching into sustainable food processing ventures and providing healthy solutions, not only to its' clients, to “ensure healthy solutions from soil all the way to society” - think farm to fork, but with added layers - but also aims to become the leading company in Angola, providing carbon-neutral farming solutions. One of its current ambitious projects is delivering omega-3 – fatty acids known to improve eye health and reduce risk factors for heart disease – to consumers through chickens. This has been inspired by proven research that suggests the omega-3- fatty acids is likely to assist in the reduction to the risk of heart attack, stroke, dementia and depression. As part of its' sustainable solutions project, AngoDaluz already uses the waste from its animals as manure for its crops, reverting to traditional farming methods and its animals, feed off the natural produce grown on its’ farm, thereby ensuring a chemical free production. It also aims to work with international bodies to promote this ambition further. AngoDaluz also believes in providing job opportunities for the people in the area, especially the Youth, and is greatly involved in charitable work aimed at enhancing the quality of life of the members of the local community. Through its’ charity sister organisation, ‘Rise Up Together’ it built a local school in 2017 that currently serves 411 students and provides dormitory facilities for orphans as well as meals for the kids. It has also built a local Infirmary and plans to build a Clinic, is in progress.
